Gilberth Aguilar Gutiérrez
Lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in the field of labor and administrative law.
With extensive experience working for state institutions, he began his professional career as a Lawyer in the Legal Department of the Comptroller General's Office, directing the instruction of administrative procedures. Later, he joined Banco de Costa Rica as Manager of the Labor Legal Area in charge of legal advice on labor and administrative matters for the BCR and its Subsidiary Companies. During this time, he was in charge of labor judicial processes and administrative litigation, development of labor regulations such as policies, autonomous regulations, regulations on various labor issues, collective agreements, performance evaluation systems, salary scales, preparation and modification of salary compensation regimes, internal restructuring and reorganization, attention to administrative procedures; instructor in talks, courses and seminars on labor, administrative matters and administrative procedures. In 2018, he served as Corporate Legal Manager of Banco de Costa Rica, providing high-level legal advice in different legal fields to the Board of Directors and General Management of the Bank and to the respective Boards of Directors and General Management of its Subsidiary Companies. After more than 30 years working for the public sector, he began his independent practice, providing advice and consulting on labor and litigation matters, as well as assisting public and private sector companies in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADDR) settings.
María José Aguilar Retana
She has over 15 years of experience; she is a lawyer and notary public, holds a Master's degree in Commercial Law, and has extensive experience in commercial and corporate consulting for national and international companies.
This includes, among others, contracts, corporate structuring, merger and acquisition processes, issuance of notarial documents, trademark registration and review, due diligence processes, and advice on project structuring, public procurement, and immigration matters with a corporate focus. María José is known for assisting her company in corporate processes to ensure business success, always standing by her client's side. She has also served as legal advisor to companies awarded several public projects, such as the Chucás, Reventazón, and Cachí hydroelectric projects. She also currently serves as legal advisor to the company responsible for the rehabilitation of National Route 32.

Judith Corella Elizondo
Lawyer and Notary Public, Master's Degree in Constitutional Law, with a Specialization in Labor and Fundamental Rights from the University of Castilla La Mancha, Spain, with more than 20 years of experience.
She is a consultant with extensive experience in matters related to institutional advisory services for the public sector, as well as corporate labor in the private sector. Her experience includes, among others: Legal advice and consulting for Boards of Directors, Human Resources Areas, and Legal Departments, through the issuance of specialized opinions. She has also developed and implemented Labor Policy Manuals, union negotiations, and legal advice for the implementation of Performance Evaluation and Management Systems. She has also assisted in drafting disciplinary letters, general communications, guidelines, employment contracts, professional services contracts, work schedules, and internal disciplinary procedures, as well as routine procedures in the public sector and administrative procedures before the Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTSS). She also has extensive experience conducting seminars and training sessions, as well as in litigation.
